It's that time again to drop in to make a difference in a soldier's life! Our next drive has a new location,The American Legion at 111 Miller Street in Winston-Salem. The hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Come out to support the troops on the ground in Afghanistan and Iraq. The blood collected from this drive is processed and shipped to military installations in these countries for immediate use for our service men and woman in need.

Demon Deacon fans are invited to come out to Wake Forest's Fan Fest to celebrate Wake Forest fall sports. Fans of all ages will have the chance to meet Wake Forest players and coaches, pickup 2010 football posters and schedule cards, take lot of pictures and get autographs. Each participating biker will pay a $15.00 entry fee to ride for charity from Greensboro through High Point, and on to the finish at Dudley Cosmetology University campus in Kernersville. Proceeds from the Charity Ride will benefit Piedmont Health Services and Sickle Cell Agency’s support services for clients living with sickle cell disease. PHSSCA is a community health agency that also offers free health screenings, education, counseling and referrals for diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension, breast and prostate screening, HIV and syphilis.
